M8 Armoured car

The M8 armoured car armed with a 37mm cannon and Browning machine guns was the primary US recconaisance vehicle used by US forces in North West Europe and Italy. Some of these armoured cars were used later in the war by British forces in  Italy.  In British service they were known as the Greyhound, fast but lightly armoured .
